If you are licensed elsewhere in the compact, your APIT® already authorizes telepsychology to clients located in West Virginia — no West Virginia license needed for that work. It does not authorize in-person practice here. For temporary in-person work that is the separate IPC and TAP® route, capped at 30 calendar days per calendar year.
One constraint matters more than it first appears: under the APIT® you must be physically located in your declared home state while delivering telepsychology. A West Virginia license held by someone who lives elsewhere does not make West Virginia a workable home state. Choose the state you actually sit in.
